When you want to give up, think, ‘What would Meredith Grey do?’. She wouldn’t quit and neither should you!
This one is important so listen to Karev. You’re not a quitter. I may not even know you but that’s not who you are.
Make your home in the library because you’ll be in good company.
But before you set up camp, pack snacks. Lotza snacks. You may be there a while.
And coffee. If you want to be a generous soul, hand it out. I like it black (:
But you’re not a super-human. So take breaks.
I recommend dance parties. You always deserve a dance party!
Maybe always two!
Your mental health is quite importante. So smile. Or don’t.
Just take a few deep breaths.
And cry it out if need be.
Put your arm around that person having an emotional breakdown because you know what they’re feeling. You will never be as comforting as Mark Sloan but it’s the thought that counts!
And if you’re alone, hugging yourself is certainly acceptable. You need some comfort in your life.
You will most likely reach this point. The choice is all yours!
But I recommend getting some shut eye. There’s always dry shampoo.
This moment where you’ll walk out of that classroom on the last day will come soon and soon enough. Make this your motivation.
So lose this mentality right now.
